RealTimeZones is built as a local-first, static web application. Unlike traditional scheduling software, all time zone offsets, city selections, timeline scrubbing events, and calendar export links are calculated and rendered entirely on your local device.
We do not run search indexes or coordinate queries on remote database servers. Your searches are processed client-side against an optimized static city dictionary.
2. Local Storage Usage.
We utilize browser-based storage technologies (such as the standard localStorage API) to cache:
- Your active list of selected cities.
- Your preferred time format (12h vs 24h).
- Your active theme preference (System, Light, or Dark mode).
- Your timeline scrubbing state.
This data is stored purely within your local web browser. You can clear this data at any time by wiping your browser history/cache or by clicking the Reset Workspace button located within the navigation settings dropdown.
3. No Tracking & Cookies.
We prioritize local-first data integrity. We do not use invasive third-party behavioral analytics tracking pixels, and we never sell, distribute, or monetize your team's configuration details to third-party data brokers.
4. External Contact Forms.
If you submit a query via our Contact Form, we only utilize your email address and message details to address your specific support request or feedback. We do not sell or add your email address to automated marketing lists.
